PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Payment Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds made with Traveli Ceylon Holidays (Pvt) Ltd., a company duly incorporated under the laws of Sri Lanka bearing Company Registration No. PV101762 and having its registered office at 42, St. Sebastian Road, Mahahunupitiya, Negombo, Sri Lanka (hereinafter referred to as “Traveli Ceylon”).

Traveli Ceylon is a registered travel agent with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA Registration No. SLTDA/SQA/TA/02154).

By signing the Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) and/or making a payment to Traveli Ceylon, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Payment Terms & Conditions, including the Cancellation & Refund Policy set out herein.

1. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

All bookings are governed by a Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) executed between Traveli Ceylon and the customer.

The SLA shall constitute the booking confirmation and the binding agreement between the parties. It shall specify, among other matters, the services to be provided, travel dates, inclusions, exclusions, payment amounts, payment due dates, and any special conditions applicable to the booking.

A booking shall become valid and confirmed only upon receipt of the payment required under the SLA.

The travel dates and payment schedule shall be as specified in the SLA.

All payment amounts and payment due dates shall be governed by the SLA.

Traveli Ceylon reserves the right to determine the amount of advance payment required for each booking and may, at its sole discretion, require payment of the full tour price in advance.

In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and the SLA, the provisions of the SLA shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

2. Payment Methods

Payments may be made through one or more of the following methods:

  • Secure online payment link
  • Bank transfer
  • Cash payment in Sri Lanka
  • Any other payment method approved by Traveli Ceylon

All payments must be made in the currency specified in the SLA, invoice, quotation, or other written communication issued by Traveli Ceylon unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cardholder Responsibility

The cardholder making the payment must be a party to the booking or an authorized payer acting on behalf of the customer.

Traveli Ceylon reserves the right to request proof of identity, authorization, or payment ownership where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, payment verification, or regulatory compliance purposes.

3. Payment Obligations

Customers shall ensure that all payments are made on or before the due dates specified in the SLA.

Traveli Ceylon reserves the right to withhold, suspend, modify, or cancel services if payments due have not been received within the agreed timeframe.

Any costs arising from delayed payments, including but not limited to additional supplier charges, may be charged to the customer where applicable.

4. Bank Charges and Currency Conversion

Any bank charges, card processing fees, intermediary bank charges, foreign exchange conversion fees, transfer costs, or similar charges imposed by financial institutions shall be borne by the customer.

Traveli Ceylon shall not be responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or losses arising from currency conversions.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email by the lead traveler or the booking agent.

The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which the written cancellation request is received by Traveli Ceylon.

5. Cancellations Received More Than 45 Days Before Arrival

A refund of all monies paid will be issued, less:

  • A non-refundable administration and processing fee of USD 100 per booking; and
  • Any bank charges, card processing fees, foreign exchange losses, transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, or other financial institution charges incurred in receiving or refunding the payment.

6. Cancellations Received Between 45 and 30 Days Before Arrival

A refund of 70% of the total amount paid will be issued, less:

  • A non-refundable administration and processing fee of USD 100 per booking; and
  • Any bank charges, card processing fees, foreign exchange losses, transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, or other financial institution charges incurred in receiving or refunding the payment.

7. Cancellations Received Within 30 Days of Arrival

No refund shall be payable.

8. Force Majeure Consideration

Where a traveler is unable to travel due to a force majeure event, including but not limited to serious illness, death of an immediate family member, natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions, war, civil unrest, or other exceptional circumstances beyond the traveler’s reasonable control, a written request for special consideration may be submitted together with supporting documentation.

Upon review of the evidence provided, Traveli Ceylon may, at its sole discretion, approve a partial refund of up to 50% of the amount paid by the customer.

All such requests shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Finance Manager of Traveli Ceylon.

The decision of Traveli Ceylon shall be final and binding.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed only through official banking channels and in accordance with applicable Sri Lankan banking, foreign exchange, tax, and financial regulations.

Refunds will be made only to the original payer and, wherever possible, through the original payment method used for the booking.

Any bank charges, intermediary bank fees, payment gateway charges, foreign exchange losses, transfer fees, or other transaction costs associated with the refund shall be borne entirely by the customer.

10. Amendments and Changes

Requests to amend confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Traveli Ceylon reserves the right to determine any additional costs arising from requested amendments.

11. Force Majeure Affecting Operations

Traveli Ceylon shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, modifications, or cancellations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of government, strikes, transportation disruptions, pandemics, epidemics, war, civil unrest, supplier failures, or other force majeure events.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By signing the SLA and/or making any payment to Traveli Ceylon, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Payment Terms & Conditions and the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

The customer further acknowledges that all payment schedules, payment amounts, travel dates, and service inclusions are governed by the SLA executed between the customer and Traveli Ceylon.
